The darkness fades behind me as I walk into the sun
The warmth revives my limbs until I feel the strength to run
Claws from there behind reach out and try to pull me back
But out here is full color and I won't return to black
Screams fade into whispers fade to memories fade to gone
Death has been forgotten, into life I have been drawn
